EASTON, M.A. – New Haven Volleyball faced their second matchup of the weekend against Stonehill and took home its first conference win.

The Chargers and the Skyhawks were in a back-and-forth battle through the whole match, with the Chargers coming out on top in the fifth set 22-20. The Chargers had stellar performances from Josie Foster (Kurwongbah, Australia), leading with 15 kills and nine blocks, Lauren MacKellar (Grosse Pointe Woods, Mich./Northville), who had 13 kills and five blocks, and Naliah Grannell (Hamden, Conn./Hamden), who had 12 kills and six blocks. Caroline Johnston (Noelnsville, TN) had 26 assists, and Payton Malinoski (Homer Glen, Ill./Lockport Township) secured the Chargers back row with 29 digs.

The Chargers are hosting their first home match against FDU on Friday, Oct. 3^rd at 6:00 p.m.
