CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Football Championship Subdivision Athletics Directors Association announced its 28th Annual Academic All-Star Team on Tuesday morning. New Haven Football's Jayden Shwed (Hawthorne, N.J./Hawthorne) was named to the 2025 team.
Shwed, a senior running back who hails from Hawthorne, N.J., finished the season with 25 carries, 52 yards, and a rushing touchdown. In his final game wearing the Blue & Gold, Shwed found Evan Chieca (Lindenhurst, N.Y./Lindenhurst) from 20 yards out for a passing touchdown–the only one of his career.
Shwed's career totals include 118 yards rushing, 28 yards receiving, and 20 yards passing. The do-it-all back totaled four touchdowns in his career on the ground, receiving, and passing.
