WEST HAVEN, Conn. – Brian Scott has been named Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks Coach of New Haven Football, following the departure of Tim Zetts to the Las Vegas Raiders. Scott brings with him a wealth of experience and a track record of fostering high-powered offenses.
Scott transitions to New Haven following time at Tennessee Tech as the Associate Head Coach/Offensive Coordinator/Quarterbacks Coach. Known for orchestrating a prolific offense, Scott's leadership at New Hampshire saw the Wildcats rank fourth nationally in passing and tenth in total offense. The 2023 season was marked by standout performances from key players under his guidance, including quarterback Max Brosmer and running back Dylan Laube, both finalists for the Walter Payton Award.
Scott's offensive strategies have consistently yielded impressive results across various programs. At Old Dominion, he developed the skills of notable players such as NFL quarterback Taylor Heinicke and receiver Travis Fulgham. His career highlights include being named FootballScoop.com Coordinator of the Year twice and a finalist for the Broyles Award in 2016.
With prior coaching roles at institutions such as Towson, UT Martin, and Maine, Scott brings extensive experience to New Haven, where he aims to implement his offensive system.
