Prior to New Haven: Transferred to New Haven from Bryant University where he did not see game action as a freshman and appeared in eight games last season … Closed out the 2018 campaign with four tackled, including his first collegiate stop against Robert Morris … Added his other three tackles all in the season finale against Howard … Four-year varsity football player at Xaverian Brothers High School, where he served as a captain as a senior … Helped lead the Hawks to a 44-4 record and two state championship during his high school career … Three-time Catholic Conference All-Star and three-time All-State selection … Named to the Boston Herald All-Scholastic Team as a senior … Also played basketball and ran track.

Personal: Son of Elizabeth Santana and Carnell Henderson … Has two brothers, Carnell and Shamaine, and two sisters, Ciell and Danielle … Father, Carnell, was a wide receiver at Boston University … Uncle, Curtis Henderson, played for the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Oakland Raiders.
