2022: Tabbed Northeast-10 All-Conference First Team on defense … Earned Academic Honors accolades on the Northeast-10 Academic Honor Roll following both the Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 semesters … Started all 11 games, closing out the season second on the team with 65 tackles, 40 of which were solo stops … Led the Northeast-10 with six interceptions and closed out the season eighth nationally in interceptions per game … Among his 65 tackles were seven that resulted in a total of 22 yards lost, two of which were sacks … Added three pass breakups, two QB hurries and a forced fumble … Finished all 11 games with at least four tackles, setting a season-high with eight in the second game of the year against crosstown rival Southern Connecticut State University (Sep. 10) … Followed that up with two more eight-tackle games against American International (Sep. 17) and Bentley (Sep. 23), the latter of those included a season-high six solo tackles … Picked up his sacks in the season opener against Bowie State (Sep. 3) and against Pace (Oct 8) with the one against pace leading to a seven yard loss, part of two TFL’s against the Setters … Picked up his first INT of the year in that rivalry game against the Owls, returning it for 28 yards … Added a career-high two interceptions in a Northeast-10 Conference match-up against Saint Anselm … Also had INT’s against Post (Oct.15) and in the second matchup against SCSU (Nov. 12), the annual battle for the Elm City trophy.
Prior to New Haven: Transferred to New Haven from Albany where he played one season with the Great Danes, as well as four games during the Spring 2021 CoVID season … Appeared in 12 games at safety in 2018, recording 10 tackles, including back-to-back games with four tackles against Stony Brook and Central Connecticut.
High School: Played football at the Aquinas Institute, helping team win a pair of NYSPHSAA Class AA state titles and three Section V titles ...
