2021-22: Played in 30 games, starting in 29 before suffering a season-ending injury in the NE10 Championship game at Saint Anselm (Mar. 4) … Averaged 9.3 points per game, fourth most on the team … Third on the team from beyond the arc with 33 three pointers, while adding 4.3 rebounds per game … Finished the season second on the team with 94 assists and second in steals with 39 … Closed out 13 games with double figures in the scoring column, setting his season-best early in the year with 18 against Adelphi (Nov. 19) … The 18 points against the Panthers is the most he scored during his two seasons at UNH … Also added a season-high eight assists in that game, while pulling down seven boards and shooting an impressive 7-of-8 from the field … Matched his season-high of eight assists against Indiana (Pa.) (Nov. 26) who at the time was ranked No. 3 in the nation … Strung together a season-best four-straight games with double figured in the scoring column, all in conference play in early February.  

2021-22: Played in 26 games, including as a member of the starting five in 20 games … Finished the season averaging 7.6 points and 3.8 rebounds per game while leading the team with 41 stelas and finishing second with 90 assists … Scored in double figures in seven games, setting a season-high with 15 points against Bentley (Jan. 11) where he finished 5-of-7 from the field with a pair of three pointers and a perfect 3-for-3 at the free throw line … Dished out an assist in all but one game, including handing out five or more in seven games … Set a career-high with nine assists, to go along with eight points and seven rebounds against Southern New Hampshire (Feb 10) … Twice finished without missing a three point field goal; against Bentley and against Saint Rose where he finished 3-of-3.

Prior to New Haven: Transferred to New Haven from Gannon University where he played two seasons with the Golden Knights … Averaged 8.2 points during the 2019-20 season prior to the CoVID shutdown … Finished two games that season with 20+ points, including a season-high 24 points against California (Pa.) … In his first season at Gannon, averaged 10.4 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game… Scored a season-high 23 points that year against Edinboro.

High School: Graduated in 2018 from Elmont Memorial High School in Elmont, NY where he played varsity basketball all four years and was named captain for two ... He averaged 19 points and six assists per game and is a two- time All-County selection ... In 2016, he helped Elmont Memorial to the New York Class A State Championship ... Upon graduation Olawoye was named Elmont’s all-time leading scorer.

Personal: Son of Andrew and Oluremi Olawoye ... Has two brothers, Joseph and Blessing, and also one sister, Joy … Majoring in sport management with a concentration in marketing.
