2018:
Appeared in all 12 games on both special teams and as a wide out…Closed out the year with 41 receiving yards on four receptions, converting all four for touchdowns…First career touchdown came on a three yard catch at Assumption (Oct. 13)…Followed that with a touchdown in a rain-soaked Stonehill game (Oct. 27)…Finished with a career-high two touchdowns on 27 yards against Saint Anselm (Nov. 3), including a 22-yard haul...Also finished the season with eight tackles and a forced fumble, all on special teams, with seven of his tackles being solo.

Prior to Football:
Played four seasons on the Chargers baseball team, helping lead the team to the 2017 Northeast-10 Conference Championship and back-to-back appearances in the NCAA East Region Championship in 2017 and 2018…Was an All-Region First Team Selection and D2CCA Second Team honoree as a senior…Also named to the NE10 Second Team All-Conference following the 2018 campaign when he was honored as the Chargers Male Athlete of the Year…Six-time honoree on the Northeast-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll, while earning New Haven Dean’s List accolades once…Was awarded a Bachelor’s of Science in Fire Science with a concentration in Public Safety Management this past May and is pursuing a Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Management of Sports Industries starting this fall

Personal:
Son of Mike and Beth Caico…Father played basketball and lacrosse at Southampton…Grandfather, Robert Gilmore, played three seasons of minor league baseball (1953-55) as a starting pitcher, registering a record of 23-12 and a 3.69 ERA.
