2018:
Named to the Northeast-10 All-Conference First Team on defense…Started the first nine games of the season before missing the conclusion of the year due to injury…Despite the shortened season, tied for the team lead with 75 tackles including six that resulted in 14 yards lost…Also added an interception, a fumble recovery and one pass breakup…His lone interception came in the NE10 opener against Pace as he returned it 43 yards to set up a New Haven touchdown…Closed out all nine games with at least seven tackles, registering double figures with 10 tackles in three different games…After opening up the season with eight tackles against Bryan (Sep. 8), upped his game to finish with 10 in the NE10 opener against Pace, including 1.5 for a season-high seven loss yards…Matched his season-high 10 tackles on the road at Merrimack (Sep. 22) and at Stonehill (Oct. 27)…Also matched his season-high of 1.5 tackles for loss against the Skyhawks…Closed out his campaign with seven tackles in a home win over Saint Anselm (Nov. 3) before suffering the injury.
2017:
Twice named to the Northeast-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll...Named Second Team All-Conference…Appeared in all 10 games for the Chargers, leading the team with 82 total tackles, which was the fourth most in the NE10…Named ECAC Defensive Player of the Week following a career-high performance with 17 tackles against Stonehill (Oct 14)…Among his 82 tackles was a team-high 43 solo stops…Also added seven tackles for loss, third most on the team, while those seven tackles resulted in 27 yards lost…Added double digit tackles in two other games, back-to-back against American International (Oct. 28) and Bentley (Nov. 4)….Finished all 10 games with at least a pair of tackles, while adding at least one tackle for loss in five different contests…Among his seven tackles for loss was a pair of sacks, while he also broke up a pass and forced a fumble against crosstown rival Southern Connecticut State University (Sept. 29).
PRIOR TO NEW HAVEN:
Transferred to New Haven from Nassau Community College where he played two seasons on the gridiron for the Lions…Played in six games as a rookie in 2015, collecting nine total tackles…Followed that up with 88 tackles in seven games, an average 12.6 per game, leading to Junior College All-American accolades…Finished five games, all back-to-back, with double figure tackles, setting a career-high of 17 against Hocking College (Sept. 3, 2016)…Followed that up with 15 tackles against Navy Prep (Sept. 17) and added 14 against Army Prep (Oct. 21)…Three-time New York State Catholic High School All-League honoree while playing football at Holy Cross High School…Twice named All-City and received Queens Player of the Year accolades in 2012 and 2013…Closed out his high school career with 260 tackles, 1,400 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
