2022 Season

For the second straight season, the New Haven field hockey team earned a postseason berth and a quarterfinal victory, again defeating Bentley before hosting Pace for the first ever home NE10 playoff game in program history. Prior to the 2022 season getting underway, the Chargers received the program's first ever national ranking and they went on to open up NE10 play 7-0 before going on to finish tied for fifth in the regular season standing. Also among the highlights for the Chargers was their second win over a ranked program in school history, defeating Assumption 2-1 as part of that early seven game NE10 win streak.

2021 Season

Record: 10-10
NE10 Finish: 9-5 (7th of 15)

The New Haven field hockey team made marked improvement, most notably earning the program's first ever postseason appearance as the seventh seed in the Northeast-10 Tournament. Not only did the Chargers earn that first ever bid, they posted a first round upset of second seeded Bentley to advance to the semifinal round. Overall, the Blue and Gold finished 2021 with their first double figure win season in program history, with four Chargers earning postseason honors from the Northeast-10 Conference. Leading the Chargers on the year was rookie Abby Nixon, an All-Rookie selection, as she finished with 19 points on a team-best seven goals and added five assists.

2019 Season

Record: 5-13

The 2019 season saw the Chargers take a number of steps forward in the development of an up-and-coming program. The team more than doubled its win total from the previous season to win a school-record five games, which included its first-ever shutout with a 1-0 victory over Southern Connecticut State. New Haven also won back-to-back games for the first time in school history and set a new program record with four goals in a win over Molloy. Junior goaltender Natalie Shaker and sophomore defender/midfielder Taylor Geaglone both earned Third Team All-Northeast-10 honors.

2018 Season

The 2018 season marked a number of firsts for the second-year program, including their first two wins in program history. The Chargers took down Mercy 3-2 in Dobbs Ferry, N.Y. on Oct. 2, before beating Southern Connecticut 2-1 exactly one week later in the first-ever matchup between the two crosstown rivals. Freshman Taylor Geaglone received a pair of honors as she was named to the Northeast 10 All-Conference Third Team and All-Rookie Team, while classmate Alexis Rider joined her on the All-Rookie Team, marking the first two players in program history to earn all-conference honors in the team's first year of NE10 competition.

2017 marked the inaugural season of field hockey in Charger history. In a season of firsts, the Chargers first goal in program history came against conference rival American International.
