Mike Mac Millan joined the University of New Haven baseball team as an assistant coach in August of 2013. Mac Millan, who will work primarily with the Chargers’ hitting corps, previously served on the staff at the New York Institute of Technology.
A former All-Independent performer as a student-athlete at NYIT, Mac Millan served as an assistant coach for the Bears in 2009 and assumed the duties of interim head coach of the Division I program for the 2012 campaign. He also coached two summers with the Long Island Collegians of the Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League.

Most recently, Mac Millan conducted individual lessons and managed the baseball facility at the Yorkville Youth Athletic Association in New York, N.Y.

Following his collegiate career at NYIT, Mac Millan played three professional seasons with the Worcester Tornadoes of the independent Can-Am League.

MacMillan graduated from NYIT in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.
