Danielle Moore

Danielle Moore joined the University of New Haven cross country and track & field coaching staff in August 2011, after completing her Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health at Southern Connecticut State University. She coaches mid-distance and distance runners with the Chargers.

Moore completed an internship at the Women’s Center for Breast Health at the Hospital of Saint Raphael in New Haven prior to joining the Chargers’ staff. After graduating in May of 2010, Moore served as an assistant at SCSU for one season. She designed and implemented a strength program for the distance runners and worked hand-in-hand with the Owls’ student-athletes.

As a student-athlete, Moore excelled as an All-American 800-meter runner during the indoor season of 2010. She was a three-time Northeast-10 Conference Champion while earning numerous All-Conference and All-New England honors throughout her track career at Southern Connecticut.

Moore recently completed her USATF Level One coaching certificate. A native of Palmdale, Calif., Moore currently resides in Connecticut.
