WEST HAVEN, Conn. - The University of New Haven men's and women's basketball teams travel to American International College Thursday night for a Northeast-10 Conference doubleheader in Springfield, Mass. The women tip-off at 5:30 p.m. followed by the men at 7:30 p.m.

The UNH women (2-17, 1-14 NE-10) head to Springfield after a close one-point loss to Merrimack College. The Yellow Jackets (14-6, 10-5 NE-10) are winners of two-straight and five of their last seven games. The two teams met earlier in the season with AIC taking a one-point 59-58 victory in New Haven's season opener at Charger Gymnasium. UNH's Dominique Stellmacher led all scorers with 19 points in the loss.
The New Haven men (5-14, 3-12 NE-10) have won two of their last three games, including a 65-61 victory on Monday over non-conference foe N.Y.I.T. American International (16-4, 12-3 NE-10) heads into the game as winners of five-straight. The Yellow Jackets defeated UNH 78-62 at Charger Gymnasium on November 17 in the team's first meeting of the season. AIC forward Allen Aragbaye led all scorers with 23 points in the game.
