The UNH women (2-18, 1-15 NE-10) host the Owls (8-13, 4-12 NE-10) in the teams second meeting of the year. On January 2, at SCSU, the teams went to overtime after the Owls sunk the game-tying shot as time expired in regulation. Southern has won two-straight games, against Le Moyne College and UMass Lowell, while the Chargers are currently on an 16-game slide. The teams have played a total of 56 times, with UNH holding a 35-21 all-time series lead.
The New Haven men (5-15, 3-13 NE-10) host the SCSU men (10-10, 7-9 NE-10) who started the season hot, but have dropped eight of their last 10 games. In their meeting at Moore Field House earlier this season, the Chargers defeated SCSU 57-54. UNH had four players in double figures, while holding the Owls to 30.8 percent shooting. In 72 all-time meetings, the Chargers hold a slight 38-34 edge in the all-time series.
