MINNEOLA, Fla. - The University of New Haven softball team lost its first game of the 2011 Tuesday night 6-0 to Florida Southern College. The loss is the first of the season for the Chargers to fell to 6-1. The Mocs of Florida Southern College improved to 10-8 on the season.

The Chargers return to action on Wednesday, March 16 when they play Indiana Institute of Technology and Saint Thomas Aquinas College. Game times are 1:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., respectively.
