WORCESTER, Mass. - The University of New Haven softball team will be competing on the final day of the 2011 Northeast-10 Conference Championship on Sunday at Assumption College in Worcester, Mass. The Chargers will take on the winner of (2) Southern Connecticut State University and (6) Adelphi University at 11 a.m. Sunday morning.

The winning team will then advance to take on Merrimack College in a showdown for the 2011 NE-10 Championship. Game time for the championship game is set for 1 p.m. If another game is necessary in the double elimination tournament, the final game will be played at 3 p.m. As the Chargers advance, live statistics will be available throughout the day.
