WEST HAVEN, Conn. – The New Haven women's volleyball team remains undefeated in Northeast-10 conference play as they swept Merrimack 3-0 (25-10, 25-13, 25-18) on Tuesday evening. Senior
Caroline Martins (Tres Pontas, Brazil) led the Chargers as she recorded a double-double with 10 kills and 10 digs.

Kali Greathead (Temecula, Calif./Temecula Valley) contributed to the victory with eight kills and nine digs while junior
Kristine Rios (Miami, Fla./Coral Reef) had seven kills and 29 assists on the night. Sophomore
Mallory Nowicki (Grand Rapids, Mich./Northview) and senior
Lexis Peterson (Windsor, N.Y./Windsor Central) each recorded five kills.
Leading the defensive side was junior
Lindsey Kim (Rye Brook, N.Y./Blind Brook) with 12 digs, extending her streak of double figures to 10 games. Rios also led the team with 10 digs on the night.
Six-service aces, led by Rios who had four on the night, fueled the Chargers offense. Greathead and Kim each contributed a service ace.
As a team, the Chargers had a combined .316 hitting percentage with 42 kills on 95 total attacks. Rios had a .700 hitting percentage followed by Nowicki with .455, both finishing without an error on the night. New Haven held Merrimack to only 24 points in the three-set sweep.
