The Chargers won the most recent matchup earlier this year in Springfield by a 65-50 final, shooting a season-high 52 percent from the floor. New Haven's current five-game winning streak in the series was preceded by six consecutive Yellow Jacket wins from 2015-2017.

-   The Chargers bounced back from a tough loss at Le Moyne over the weekend with a 56-49 win at Saint Rose on Wednesday night.

-   New Haven has clinched a spot in the upcoming NE10 Conference Tournament and sits in fourth place in the Southwest Division, one spot behind Pace for third place. The top three seeds in each division all earn byes into the NE10 quarterfinals.

-   New Haven's defense has been a consistent force all season for the Blue and Gold, leading the NE10 and ranking 10th in the nation in scoring defense at 53.3 points per game. The Chargers also lead the conference and rank 12th nationally in FG% defense (.336), and rank third in the NE10 by holding the opposition to just .290 percent from three-point range. The Chargers also sit t-44th in the nation in rebounding margin (+6.4) and 51st in steals per game (10.1).

-   Senior Micah Wormack (Cumberland, Md./Allegany) leads the team in scoring (12.7) and is second in rebounding (6.8). She is just 32 points shy of 1,000 for her career.

-   Freshman Aurora Deshaies (Syracuse, N.Y./Bishop Ludden) has moved back into the NE10 lead in field goal percentage at 57.5 percent (115-for-200). She is second on the team with 11.8 points and leads the team with 7.2 rebounds per game.

Deshaies collected 12 points and six rebounds on 6-of-11 shooting to lead the Chargers to a win over Pace on Feb. 5, helping the team pull away and grow the lead to 10 points midway through the fourth quarter with a pair of layups. The Syracuse native then led New Haven with 14 points and eight rebounds on 4-of-8 shooting in her homecoming at Le Moyne on Feb. 8.
