Women’s Basketball Welcomes Pendleton to Incoming Class of 2025

WEST HAVEN, Conn. – University of New Haven women's basketball coach Debbie Buff announced the signing of power forward and 2021 McDonalds All-American nominee Bianca Pendleton to the Class of 2025.

The newest 1,000 point scorer at New Hope Academy, achieving the feet just yesterday, Pendleton is an ESPN Recruiting Three Star who is currently ranked the 31st best post in the class of 2021. In addition to her nomination as an McDonald's All-American, she was named Bullis High School MVP in 2020 and 2019, earning 2020 Washington Post Private School Player of the Week accolades as well as First Team All-Montgomery County honors in 2020.

"We are very excited to welcome Bianca to our Charger Family," said Buff. "She is a post player with great footwork and hands. Bianca will be a big presence in the middle of the floor both offensively and defensively. She is a multi-dimensional player that can step out and shoot the three. We would like to extend a big thank you to Warren Doles and Coach Caldwell for helping introduce Bianca to our family."

Pendleton is the third signee in the Class of 2025 for the Chargers, joining Connecticut native and Glastonbury High School guard Charlotte Bassett who signed in November.
