WEST HAVEN, Conn. – University of New Haven women's rugby coach Emily Record has announced the first 15's schedule in program history as the Chargers being their second year as a varsity program. Last season, the Blue and Gold competed as a 7's program in both the fall and spring seasons.

The Chargers will open the fall schedule with a scrimmage on Thursday, September 1 when they travel north on I-91 to take on the American International Yellow Jackets.

The five-date regular season schedule will kickoff on Sunday, September 18 with the first of three dates at Ralph F. DellaCamera Stadium in West Haven as the Blue and Gold welcome West Chester to campus for an 11:00 a.m. opening kickoff.

A second-straight home game will come on Monday, September 26 as this time around American International will make the trek south on I-91 for a date on the Blue and Gold turf. A single road game will follow with New Haven taking on the Navy to open up the month of October on Sunday, October 2. That match-up will take place on the campus of West Chester University.

The final home date of the season will come as a round robin as the Chargers will host UConn and Bowdoin at DellaCamera Stadium on Sunday, October16.

The fall regular season will come to a conclusion on Saturday, October 29 with a first-time match-up against Davenport University, with the match scheduled to take place on the campus of Indiana University Pennsylvania.
