The Chargers fired up the offense in the second inning, when Tyler Wells (Danville, Vt./St. Johnsbury Academy) singled to right field, scoring two. New Haven would grab two more runs in the fourth inning, Andrew Cain (Seaford, N.Y./Seaford) with a single driving in one, and Owen Pincince (North Haven, Conn./North Haven) with a sacrifice fly to bring in another. The last run for the Chargers would be brought in by a single to right field from Noah Budzik (Cromwell, Conn./Cromwell) to cap off the scoring for New Haven.
Eletto went into the sixth inning making his way towards a no-hitter when Pace's Baronian would homer to left field, breaking up the no-hitter. Pace would find themselves with some come back momentum, finding themselves two more runs in the bottom of the seventh.
Drew Silverman (Commack, N.Y./Commack) would come out of the bullpen for the Chargers with bases loaded and two outs. Silverman with a first pitch fastball, would find a ground out to shortstop Kenneth Franquiz (Bellmore. N.Y./Mepham) to end the game.
