FULL NORTHEAST-10 CONFERENCE RELEASE
MANSFIELD, Mass. – After concluding the first regular season under head coach Kelly Paterson, a pair of New Haven softball players picked up postseason honors with sophomore Bella Chenet (Plantation, Fla./Archbishop McCarthy) named to the All-Defensive Team and freshman Brianna Trueman (Trout Run, Pa./Montoursville Area) earning a spot on the All-Rookie squad.
Forced into action the second most on the team defensively this past season, Chenet closed out her second season with the Blue & Gold securing 119 putouts and had a pair of assists added to it. All over the outfield, Chenet earns the distinction as a center fielder, earning the distinction for the second-straight year for her success in the middle of the outfield.
