HAMDEN, Conn. – New Haven Women's Golf took an eighth-place finish at the Quinnipiac Classic on Monday and Tuesday. The Blue & Gold collectively shot +46 in the first round before improving to +31 in the second.

Ella Hammond-Baveystock (Crowthorne, United Kingdom/Wellington College) fired a two-round total of +12, tying her for 14th individually. Gabriela Aya's (Bogota, Colombia/Colegio Anglo Colobiano) first round of +11 was countered with a +5 in round two, resulting in her tie for 24th at +16.

The third round of the tournament was canceled.

New Haven is back on the course on Saturday, Oct. 25, to take part in the Lehigh Invitational, held in Bedminster, N.J.
