WEST HAVEN, Conn. – The CSC announced its Academic All-District Teams for women's soccer last week. Five members of New Haven Women's Soccer were featured on this year's team.
Janayah Body (West Hartford, Conn./Lawrence Academy),
Caitlin Daley (Norwich, Conn./Norwich Free Academy),
Emma Mitchell (Edinburgh, Scotland/Liberton),
Caroline Ennis (Hamden, Conn./Hamden), and
Lola Wood (Auckland, New Zealand/Diocesan School) were all honored as CSC Academic All-District student-athletes.
Body, a junior defender, played in 14 matches, starting 13 in 2025. The West Hartford, Conn. native registered two assists and 12 shots (seven on goal) during the year. A mainstay on defense, Body's 1,085 minutes ranked fourth on the team.
Daley, a senior goalkeeper from Norwich, Conn., started all 16 games for the Blue & Gold in 2025. She denied 146 shots, a program record for a single season. Daley started the last 37 matches, and finishes her career at New Haven sixth all-time in saves with 284.
Mitchell, the Chargers' best offensive player, finished the season with four goals and an assist. She led the team in goals and points (nine), and was second to only Daley in minutes with 1,317.
Ennis, a senior defender, finished third on the team in minutes, playing 1,121. The Hamden, Conn. native finishes her career with 58 starts in 63 matches. Ennis scored one goal in her career on 12 shots, seven of which were on target.
Wood, a New Zealand-born midfielder, picked up one assist in 15 matches, starting 11. Wood's 825 minutes were eighth on the team. She also fired 11 shots, with five on target.
