WEST HAVEN, Conn. – The Phil Steele publication announced its yearly All-NEC Teams, featuring nine members of New Haven Football throughout the First, Second, and Third Teams.
Kevonne Wilder (Bronx, N.Y.) was named to the First Team. In 10 games, Wilder led the NEC in receiving yards per game (71.7) and receptions per game (5.5) while finishing second in the conference in receptions (55) and yards (717). Wilder also finished tied for third in touchdowns (five).
Evan Chieca (Lindenhurst, N.Y./Lindenhurst),
Irv Briggs (Queens Village, N.Y./Holy Trinity),
Luke Kelley (Lancaster, Pa./Manheim Township), and
Liam Quigley (Berkeley Heights, N.J./Govenor Livingston) were named to the Second Team.
Among tight ends, Chieca finished the season ranked first in receptions (31), touchdowns (four), and receptions per game (3.1), while ranking second in yards (255) and yards per game (25.5).
Briggs ranked tied for fourth in the NEC in sacks (four), tied for sixth in solo tackles for loss (five), and 10th in total tackles for loss (7.5).
Kelley finished tied for third in the NEC in sacks (five), and tied for fourth in total tackles for loss (10.5) and solo tackles for loss (seven).
Quigley tied for fourth in the NEC in field goals made (10), second in extra points made (30), and fifth overall in total points scored (60).
AJ Duffy (St. Augustine, Fla./Rancho Verde),
Anthony Massa (Staten Island, N.Y./Monsignor Farrell),
Brodie Williams (West Memphis, Ark./Academies of Jonesboro High School), and
Mark Didio Jr. (West Port, Conn.) were named to the Third Team.
Duffy, who was named NEC Offensive Player of the Week three times, finished second in the conference in passing yards per game (239.9), and third in the conference in passing yards (2,399) and touchdowns (22).
Massa was a mainstay on the offensive line for the Blue & Gold, providing a steady influence and leadership to a program in a year of transition. He also fortified a line that was playing together as a unit for the first time in their careers. In nine starts, Massa played a total of 553 snaps, posted 15 knockdowns, and allowed zero sacks.
Williams, who earned a Defensive Player of the Week nod from the NEC, ranked third in interceptions (three), tied for fifth in sacks among defensive backs (1.5), and 13th in total tackles (67). Williams was also the only defensive player in the conference to score two touchdowns.
Didio Jr. finished with the third most punt return yards in the NEC (139), and his long of 44 was the top mark in 2025.
