Jafar Vohra (Shelton, Conn./Shelton) earned the win with an impressive final inning, striking out two batters and maintaining composure under pressure. Starter
Michael Gatti (East Norwich, N.Y./Oyster Bay) pitched five innings, allowing three runs while striking out eight.
Mason Glickman (Windsor, Conn./Windsor) provided solid relief with three scoreless innings.
Casey Cerruto (Torrington, Conn./St. Paul Catholic) led the Chargers offensively, going 3-for-4 with two doubles and an RBI.
Nick Ungania (Mineola, N.Y./Chaminade) and
Aedan Forde (Massapequa Park, N.Y./St. John the Baptist) also played pivotal roles, combining for key hits and runs in the late innings.
