Katie Schenk Earns All-American Status for 2025

NORTHBOROUGH, MASS – The IWLCA has announced the 48 student-athletes selected for the 2025 Division II All-American teams, divided into first, second, and third teams.

University of New Haven's Katie Schenk (Southbury, Conn./Pomperaug) earned First-Team All America honors following a season in which she became the seventh member of the women's lacrosse program to score 60 goals in a season, finishing with 66.

Schenk led the team in points (82) and tied for second in assists (16). The midfielder's 66 goals ranked 21st in the country and placed 42nd in points. Schenk's 4.95 draw controls per game also placed in the top 50, slotting 43rd.

Schenk becomes the first Charger to be named a First-Team All American since Raven Linton in 2021.
