NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – The IWLCA has announced its 2025 Senior All Star teams that will compete at the USA Lacrosse Headquarters at Tierney Field in Sparks, Md.
New Haven Lacrosse will send three players to this year's All-Star Game on Saturday, May 31.
Katie Schenk (Southbury, Conn./Pomperaug),
Gianna Caprioli (Clinton Corners, N.Y./Franklin Delano Roosevelt), and
Justine Doyle (Derry, N.H./Pinkerton Academy) will all represent the Chargers at Tierney Field, having been named to the Division II contest.
Schenk, a two-time All-NE10, East Region, and All American, led the Chargers in points (82) and goals (66) in 2025. Her offensive contribution was a main reason why the Chargers notched their first win in the NCAA Tournament in program history.
Caprioli, who was also named to the NE10 and East Region teams, slotted in just behind Schenk in goals (51) and points (67), both career highs. Caprioli would not be denied in battles, coming away with a team-high 49 ground balls.
Doyle earned an All Star nod following a season in which she played a major role in the Chargers having the 13th best scoring defense in the country. The senior defender caused 11 turnovers and picked up 10 ground balls en route to an All-Conference selection.
Schenk, Caprioli, and Doyle will take the field at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
