Paige Cote (Sanford, Maine/Sanford) has signed her first career professional contract to play basketball overseas. Cote will join the
Liffey Celtics of the Women's Super League in Ireland.
In one year at New Haven, Cote appeared and started in 29 games, averaging nine points, four rebounds, and close to two assists for the Blue & Gold. Cote's 22 blocks led the team and her 96 field goals ranked third. The Sanford, Me. native finished second in offensive rebounds with 33.
Cote transferred to New Haven from the University of New Hampshire where she played four years with the Wildcats. She played in a total of 90 games, averaging 3.6 points and 2.2 rebounds over her career in Durham, N.H.
