WEST HAVEN, Conn. – BC Prievidza, of the Slovak Extraliga, has announced the signing of New Haven Men's Basketball alumni Davontrey Thomas.
Thomas makes the move following one season in Georgia, where he averaged 16.5 points per game, with four rebounds and two assists.
At New Haven, Thomas appeared in 120 games, starting 119. The 6-5 forward averaged 12.4 points and 4.4 rebounds per game in his time with the Blue & Gold.
"Davontrey fits the profile of the players we want to build on. He played his entire college career at an NCAA Division II school, just like Keith Jordan. Players from smaller programs are often really hungry for success, they want to prove themselves because they may have felt a little overlooked and out of the spotlight during school," said club director Matthias Haufer.
