WEST HAVEN, Conn. – The NEC announced its weekly award winners on Tuesday afternoon, highlighting New Haven Baseball's Max Hilsenroth (Centerport, N.Y./Harborfields) as Pitcher and Co-Rookie of the Week.

Hilsenroth's complete game on Friday, April 24, at Central Connecticut marked the first time this season a New Haven pitcher has gone the distance in a game. In his gem, Hilsenroth allowed seven hits, two runs (neither earned), only walked a pair, and struck out 10. The outing earned the right-hander his first collegiate win.
