TURIN, Italy – New Haven Men's Basketball alumnus Stefano Faloppa (Portogruaro, Italy/Holy Cross Prep) has signed a professional contract in his home country of Italy, to play for the Reale Mutua Basket Torino.

One of two players from the program to start all 31 games for the Blue & Gold in 2025-26, Faloppa was fourth on the team in minutes (26.1), first in FG% (min. Four GP) (.507), second in 3PT% (.356), third in rebounding (4.4), fourth in assists (1.3), and fifth in scoring (6.2). 

"I'm very happy to have signed my first professional contract in Italy, in Turin, in a great city and a historic basketball club," were Stefano Faloppa's (Portogruaro, Italy/Holy Cross Prep) first words as a new Gialloblù player. "I'm coming off a long seven-year stint in the United States, where I had the opportunity to work and develop my game, growing both physically and technically. I'm arriving in Serie A2 as a rookie, eager to prove I deserve this great opportunity that Coach Moretti has given me," Faloppa said.

Faloppa becomes the first player to graduate from the program the Division I level to sign a professional contract.
