WEST HAVEN, Conn. – New Haven Men's Basketball alumni Davontrey Thomas has signed a professional contract with Golden Eagle Ylli (Kosovo Basketball Superleague). The 2026-27 season will be Thomas' third in professional basketball.

In 39 games with BC Prievidza (Slovakia) last season, Thomas averaged 16.0ppg, 4.2rpg, and 1.7apg. Thomas was selected to the Eurobasket.com All-Slovakian League Third Team, and voted to the Slovakian Cup First Team. He also played 14 games in the FIBA Europe Cup, where he averaged 12.4ppg, 3.5rpg, 2.2apg, and 1.0spg.

At New Haven, Thomas appeared in 120 games, starting 119. The 6'5" forward averaged 12.4 points and 4.4 rebounds per game in his time with the Blue & Gold.
