2012 Season: Northeast-10 Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll…Appeared in 34 games, making 32 starts in the outfield…Tallied 21 hits, 10 runs, and eight RBIs…Also collected 17 walks…Had a two-run triple and scored a run in a 14-8 win against American Int’l (4/10).

2011 Season: Northeast-10 Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll…Appeared in 34 games, including 29 starts for the Chargers…Third on the team with six triples…Fifth on the team with a .257 batting average and .336 on base percentage…Collected 28 hits with 11 runs…Also tallied 13 walks and four steals…Collected two hits with one run and one RBI, including a single and a double at Adelphi on 3/22…Went 2-for-3 with one RBI at Assumption on 4/28.

2010 Season: Made 43 appearances, including 37 starts for the Chargers…Registered 25 runs scored, 33 hits, 13 RBI 40 total bases, a .301 slugging percentage and a .351 on-base-percentage…Also tallied 15 stolen bases and 19 walks…Broke out for three hits and a stolen base against Molloy College on 3/7…Combined to go 4-for-6 with four runs scored, two RBI and a double in a doubleheader against Nyack College on 3/13…Went 2-for-3 with two runs score in the back end of a doubleheader against Adelphi University on 3/25…Closed out a 2-for-5 day with two runs scored, an RBI and a double against Assumption College on 4/28.

Prior to UNH: Member of the St. Anselm College Hawks baseball team in 2008.

High School: Played for the Fairfield Prep Jesuits…2007 All-Conference…Captain of the baseball team and the State Championship hockey team…2007 CIAC All-State and New Haven Register All-Area MVP in hockey.

Personal: Son of Eugene and Donna Wirkus…Has one sister, Shawna…Majoring in Criminal Justice.
