2023: Named the Northeast-10 Southwest Division Rookie Pitcher of the Year and named to the NE10 All-Conference Third Team and All-Rookie Team … Third on the Chargers pitching staff with a 3.33 earned run average, collecting five wins among 12 appearances, six of which were starts … Allowed 18 earned runs, 20 total, on 29 hits in 48.2 innings of work, third most innings pitched on the staff … Held opponents to a .170 batting average against, with the 29 hits the lowest among the starting rotation … Struck out a team-best 52 batters … Threw a season-high six innings in a win over crosstown rival Southern Connecticut (Apr. 15), allowing a singe run on four hits in that outing … Struck out at least two batters in all 12 appearances, including six or more in five games … Recorded a season-best eight strikeouts in an NE10 opening weekend win over Adelphi (Mar. 26) … Did not allow a run in three outings, including back-to-back against Molloy (Feb. 26) and Bridgeport (Mar. 5), and also in NE10 play against Pace (Apr. 2) … Struck out six batters in two of those three games, versus Molloy and Pace … Earned Academic Distinction accolades on the Northeast-10 Academic Honor Roll and named to the New Haven Dean’s List both the Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 semesters.
