2023: Earned Academic Honors accolades on the Northeast-10 Academic Honor Roll following the Fall 2023 semester … Made an appearance in nine matches, starting twice, playing in a total of 12 sets … Finished the year with 22 kills, a pair of assists, four service aces and 23 digs … Registered at least one kill in five different matches, twice putting up five or more … Finished with seven kills in a non-conference match against Central State (Sep. 1) … Set a season-high with eight kills in an NE10 sweep of Saint Michael’s (Nov.11) … Also added a season-high 12 digs against the purple Knights, while finishing all but two matches with at least one dig.

Prior to New Haven: Transferred to New Haven from Post University where she played two seasons of volleyball for the Eagles … As a senior in 2022, led the team with 268 kills, averaging 2.48 per set … Also, second on the team with 293 digs and third on the team with 37 aces … In her first season with the Eagles (2021) second on the team with 182 kills and 260 digs and led the team with 40 service aces.

High School: Played four years of volleyball, including one as team captain, for the Wolves of Academia Bautista de Puerto Nuevo … Also competed in softball, track and field and table tennis.

Personal: Daughter of Maria Lusia and Robinson Soto … Has two older sisters Esmeraly and Genesis … Genesis played volleyball at Saint Francis (N.Y.) … Pursuing a Master of Science in forensic technology.
