2010 Season: Made 38 appearances, including 34 starts for the Chargers…Recorded a .258 batting average with 15 runs scored, 32 hits, 17 RBI, nine doubles, 41 total bases, 12 walks, a .331 slugging percentage and a .326 on-base-percentage…Also had four stolen bases and 33 assists…Finished 2-for-5 with two runs scored and an RBI in a win against Nyack College on 3/13…Went 3-for-4 with two RBI in a victory over Dominican College on 4/8…Closed 2-for-5 with four RBI, two doubles and one run scored against Assumption College on 4/28.

High School: Three-year letter-winner for the Cranston West Falcons…Led the team to back-to-back Rhode Island State Championships (2006-07)…Two-time First Team All-Conference (2008-09)…Second Team All-State in 2008 and 2009…Named to the Rhode Island All-Star team in 2008 and 2009…Also earned three letters in wrestling…Member of the team that won three consecutive state championships (2006-2008)…Honor roll student.

Personal: Son of Jason and Julie O’Connell…Has a sister, Casey…Majoring in Arson Investigation.
