SOUTH EASTON, Mass. - The University of New Haven women's lacrosse team was selected as the No. 6 seed in the upcoming Northeast-10 Conference Championships. The Chargers will head to No. 3 seed Merrimack on Wednesday May 5 for the quarterfinals. Game time is set for 4:00 p.m. at Merrimack's Warrior Field.
The Chargers' 6-5 in-conference record earned them the No. 6 spot, while the Warriors posted a 9-2 NE-10 record to sit at No. 3. New Haven is looking to avenge a 18-6 loss to Merrimack earlier in the season. The Chargers' leading scorer this season,
Sarah Magnone (Yardley, Penn./Villa Joseph Marie), led UNH with a pair of goals and an assist in the loss.
