BOX SCORE Box Score

WEST HAVEN, Conn. – In her final game with women’s basketball program, senior Dominique Stellmacher lifted the squad over Adelphi University with a season-high 29 points, as the Chargers celebrated Senior Night with a 78-60 victory at Charger Gymnasium on Wednesday evening. Along with Stellmacher, Lauren Boivin, Tiana Williams, Nicole Pollard and Yasmin Ithier-Vicenty concluded their illustrious careers in the triumph.

Stellmacher collected her game-high point total on 12-of-22 shooting and nearly earned a double-double with nine rebounds. Boivin also went out with a bang, recording a double-double with 16 points and 14 boards. Ayana Duncanson had 13 points and nine rebounds and Olivia DeMarco added double-digits with 10 points.

The Chargers raced out to a lightning fast start, grasping a 19-4 lead through the first nine minutes of play. Adelphi battled back around the midway mark but another surge extended the Chargers lead to 20 points late in the stanza. As the halftime whistle sounded, UNH carried a 41-21 advantage into the locker room.

Stellmacher led the attack with a half-high 19 points in the first 20 minutes of action.
