WEST HAVEN, Conn. - The nationally ranked No. 7 University of New Haven women's lacrosse team recently earned the fifth seed in the Northeast-10 Conference Championship tournament. The Chargers will open play on Wednesday, May 2 at 7 p.m. at fourth-seed Bentley University. 

In their previous meeting this season, the Falcons came out with a 13-11 victory over the Chargers in Waltham. Senior Alexis Gabbe (Malverne, N.Y./Malverne) enjoyed a career day with four goals and four assists, while Nicole McKee (Wantagh, N.Y./MacArthur) added three goals for UNH in the loss.

The Chargers are making their fourth-straight postseason appearance in 2012. The Chargers enter with a 13-4 overall record and an 8-4 record in conference play. The Bentley boast a 12-5 overall mark and a 9-3 record in the NE-10 entering the tournament.

The winning team will advance to take on Le Moyne in the final four in Syracuse, N.Y. this Saturday. Below find ticket information and a complete schedule of the 2012 NE-10 Women's Lacrosse Championship tournament.
