	ALBANY, N.Y. – The University of New Haven women's volleyball team maintained its perfect Northeast-10 record with a 3-1 win at Saint Rose on Tuesday evening. Kristy Atufunwa (Denver, Colo./Denver East) led a balanced Chargers' attack with 11 kills.
	 
	With the win by set scores of 25-20, 27-29, 25-18 and 25-22, New Haven moves to 14-4 overall and 6-0 in the NE-10. The Golden Knights take the first blemish to their conference mark at 5-1 and drop to 13-2 on the season.
	 
	Amber Cannady (Yonkers, N.Y./Charles E. Gorton) and Meghan Kennelly (Detroit, Mich./Eisenhower) added nine kills apiece for the Chargers, who collectively hit .146. Kristen Lee (Colorado Springs, Colo./Liberty), Ashley Dalton (Helena, Mont./Capital / Northern Arizona University) and Kaulana Ane (Paia, Hawai'i/Kamehameha) contributed six kills each. Ane completed her eighth double-double of 2013 with 32 assists and 15 digs.
	 
	Leading the way in the back row was Kea-Marie Olaso (Kailua, Hawai'i/Le Jardin Academy) with 16 digs from the libero spot. Lee also reached double figures with 10 digs. At the net, Cannady had a hand in six of the Chargers' 10 team blocks, with Ane and Dalton each getting a piece of four rejections. New Haven limited Saint Rose to a .038 hitting percentage.
	 
	Olaso landed three aces on the day, pacing the Chargers to nine winners from their serving game. Lee had two with one apiece coming from Ane, Annika Hacker (Bayreuth, Germany/Littleton (Colo.)), Ashley Gomez (El Paso, Texas/Ysleta) and Margo Meteyer (Madison, Wis./Madison West).
	 
	Maryellen Devic and Alex Gagliano each had eight kills for the Golden Knights. Tori Daniels and Ariana Wilson shared setting duties and distributed 19 and 15 assists, respectively. Katy Daniels led all players with 26 digs.
	 
	Saint Rose went on the first run of the match, opening up an early 7-4 advantage in set one. However, the Chargers responded with five of the next seven points to knot the match at 9-9, and the clubs then traded three-point spurts to extend the deadlock to 12-12.The set was tied for the eighth and final time at 20-20 when New Haven rattled off five consecutive points to take an early advantage with 25-20 win.
	 
	The marathon second set featured 16 ties and nine lead changes. The Chargers fought off three set-point changes for the Golden Knights, and had one of their own turned away, before Saint Rose strung together consecutive rallies to even up the match with a 29-27 triumph.
	 
	New Haven was again playing from behind in the third set, trailing by as many as four points early in the frame at 10-6. The Golden Knights maintained that advantage to a 14-10 score before the Chargers ran off an 8-0 run that featured a pair of blocks by Cannady and Ane to take an 18-14 lead. The cushion proved insurmountable and a late 4-0 stretch put the set away at 25-18.
	 
	Roles were reversed in set four with the Chargers jumping out to an early lead before Saint Rose stormed back. The set would be tied on six occasions – the last coming at 17-17. Another block by the tandem of Cannady and Ane put New Haven on top for good and began a 4-0 run. Lee's sixth kill of the evening sealed the win as the Chargers took a 25-22 decision to cap a 3-1 victory.
	 
	Action comes back to Charger Gymnasium on Thursday, Oct. 24 at 7 p.m. against perennial ECC and East Region power Dowling. The match will be broadcast live in high definition and free of charge on NewHavenChargers.com. Northeast-10 play resumes for the Chargers on Saturday, Oct. 26 at Bentley.
