	WEST HAVEN, Conn. - Led by the fourth double-double of the season by Amber Cannady (Yonkers, N.Y./Charles E. Gorton), the University of New Haven women's volleyball team capped off its sixth consecutive undefeated Northeast-10 Conference schedule with a three-set victory over Southern New Hampshire University Friday night at Charger Gymnasium. The Chargers won by set scores of 25-16, 25-15 and 25-18.
	
	With the win, New Haven capped the regular season with a 23-4 overall record and a 14-0 mark in the NE-10. The win also made it 88-straight regular season victories over NE-10 competition for the Chargers. The Penmen dropped to 12-12 overall and 7-7 in conference play.
	
	Cannady totaled 14 kills off 20 attempts with just one error for a .650 hitting percentage. She also recorded 11 total blocks (4S, 7A) in her first three-set double-double of the season. Margo Meteyer (Madison, Wis./Madison West) added nine kills with a .304 swinging percentage, while senior Ashley Dalton (Helena, Mont./Capital / Northern Arizona University) contributed seven kills and three total blocks. Both Kristen Lee (Colorado Springs, Colo./Liberty) and Kristy Atufunwa (Denver, Colo./Denver East) both added six kills. 
	
	In the backrow, Kea-Marie Olaso (Kailua, Hawai'i/Le Jardin Academy) led all players with 19 digs and Meteyer chipped in with 11. Kaulana Ane (Paia, Hawai'i/Kamehameha) paced the offense with 38 assists in the win.
	
	New Haven played to an 8-7 advantage in the opening set. A Cannady kill and three SNHU errors gave the Chargers a commanding 18-11 lead later in the set. The Chargers improved their lead to 22-14 after a block by Dalton and Atufunwa. Cannady sealed the first set with a kill from Ane for a 25-16 win. The senior Cannady was a perfect 5-for-5 in the first set to boast a 1.000 hitting percentage in the set.
	
	In the second set, New Haven jumped out to a quick lead with Meteyer giving the Chargers a 9-3 advantage early. The Chargers kept on the pressure and took a 20-12 lead with another Cannady finisher. The teams exchanged points until Dalton put away the second-set winner for a 25-15 victory.
	
	UNH and SNHU opened the third set playing point-for-point. Meghan Kennelly (Detroit, Mich./Eisenhower) evened the set at 7-7 with a kill from Meteyer. The Chargers then scored three-straight and took the lead for good in the final set. The Chargers also went on a 5-1 run to take an 18-12 lead after a Cannady and Meteyer block. The seniors, Dalton and Cannady, concluded the match with the Chargers' final two kills and a 25-18 win.
	
	New Haven, who previously clinched the NE-10 Regular Season Championship and earned the No. 1 seed in the upcoming Northeast-10 Conference Championship, will host the No. 8 seed on Tuesday, Nov. 19 in the quarterfinals. The No. 8 seed will be either American International, who will need to win their final regular season match on Saturday, or Southern New Hampshire. Match time is set for 7 p.m. at Charger Gymnasium.
