Last Time Out
The Chargers earned their fifth consecutive victory with a 69-56 win over visiting Saint Rose on Tuesday, Dec. 10. The triumph was New Haven's first of the season when trailing in the second half.

Eric Anderson and Cyrus James each registered a double-double. Anderson posted 11 points, 16 rebounds and seven blocked shots, while James tallied 11 points, a career-high 12 boards and turned away three Saint Rose shots. Anderson's double-double was his sixth of 2013-14 and James' was the first of his career.

Anderson's seven blocks matched his career high, and the team's 11 rejections represent a season best.

The last time two Chargers each notched a double-double in the same game was on Feb. 2, 2013 when Anderson tallied 12 points and 18 rebounds and Justin Exum recorded 19 points and 12 rips in a win over Massachusetts-Lowell.

Against the Golden Knights, four Chargers scored in double figures for the second straight contest as Jeffery Adkins poured in a game-high 17 points and Exum added 16.

The Chargers shot 21-for-51 (41.2 percent) from the field, 6-for-18 (33.3 percent) from three-point range and 21-for-26 (80.8 percent) from the free throw line.

Eight games into his junior season, Anderson has already climbed into fourth all-time at New Haven with 148 rejections. His 71 blocks in 2012-13 were the second-most in a single-season in Charger history, tied with Bill Jeffress' 71 blocks and two shy of Herb Watkins' 73 rejections - both from the 1986-87 campaign.
