Saturday, Sept. 28 – 1 p.m.
Manchester, N.H. – Melucci Field
Live Stats

After a week away from competition, the University of New Haven men's soccer team travels to Manchester, N.H. for a Northeast-10 Conference clash with Saint Anselm. The Chargers are 0-5-1 on the season with an 0-2-0 NE-10 mark.

Most recently, New Haven dropped a 4-0 decision to defending NE-10 Champion Southern New Hampshire last Saturday on Kayo Field. The Chargers upset the then-No. 15 Penmen last season in Manchester but were unable to repeat the feat on their home turf.

Including an own goal, the Chargers have netted three markers this season. Sal DiTommaso (Farmington, Conn./Farmington / Central Connecticut State University) and Will Richard (Old Bridge, N.J./Old Bridge) each scored the first goal of their respective UNH careers in the Sept. 8 draw at Saint Thomas Aquinas, with Andres Torres (Medellín, Colombia/Norwalk (Conn.) / Adelphi University) and Gui Dos Santos (Curitiba, Brazil/Bethel (Conn.)) providing the assists.

Saint Anselm enters the weekend with a 2-4 record overall and a 1-3 conference tally. The Hawks have been outscored 12-3 in their four NE-10 outings, a stretch that began with a win over Assumption and has since included a home loss to Stonehill and defeats at Le Moyne and SNHU.

Four different Saint Anselm student-athletes have accounted for the squad's four goals this fall; Ian Theriault adds an assist to his credit to notch a team-leading three points. Mark Kotsopoulos has started all six matches and logged a vast majority of the minutes in goal. He owns a 2.02 goals-against average with one shutout.

Following this weekend's match on Melucci Field, the Chargers will host a pair of Northeast-10 contests. American International visits Kayo Field on Wednesday, Oct. 2 and Saint Anselm makes the trip on Saturday, Oct. 5. Both matches will be broadcast live in high definition and free of charge on NewHavenChargers.com.
