However, Assumption hauled in 18 offensive rebounds that led to 21 second-chance points. Overall, the Greyhounds held a 48-32 rebounding advantage.

The Chargers overcame a late nine-point deficit as consecutive Bradford three-pointers sparked a 10-0 run that sent New Haven into the lead, 62-61, with under two minutes remaining. However, the final run would prove decisive with Assumption netting the next five points and then sinking 4-of-5 free throws in the final 32 seconds to seal the six-point win.

The Chargers have accumulated two separate four-game winning streaks and have not lost back-to-back games this season.

New Haven Notes
At 10-4, New Haven is off to its best 14-game start since the 2006-07 campaign. The Chargers began that season at 12-4 and finished 25-6 en route to their second consecutive NYCAC/ECC Championship.
