Quigley Tabbed NEWISA All-New England First Team

WEST HAVEN, Conn. – Senior Kelly Quigley (Tewksbury, Mass./Tewksbury Memorial) of the University of New Haven women's soccer team was honored on Thursday by the New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association (NEWISA) with All-New England Division II First team accolades.
 
Quigley was the only selection from New Haven to the NEWISA All-New England Teams after starting each of the teams' 18 games on the pitch this past season. She tallied three total goals during her senior campaign, which was the second-most on the team, and also tied for first in assists with two for a total of eight points. Against Stonehill, Quigley assisted on the game-winning goal to push the Chargers past defending NE10 Champion, 2-1.  On the season, she finished with a team-high 24 shots on goal.
 
As an honoree, Quigley was also a selection for the 2017 Division II 2017 Senior Bowl, where she scored a goal in the annual match on December 2nd.
 
The women's soccer team concluded the 2017 season with an overall mark of 6-8-4 overall and 3-7-4 in the Northeast-10.
