WEST HAVEN, Conn. – The New Haven men's soccer team will welcome Southern New Hampshire to Kathy Zolad Stadium this Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m. for their final weekend home game of the regular season. Beforehand, the team will honor its five-member senior class of 2019 -

Abdullah Alamoudi (Jeddah, Saudi Arabia/Arafat),
Kledis Capollari (Pogradec, Albania/Guilderland),
Nate Peduzzi (Old Lyme, Conn./Lyme-Old Lyme) and
Brian Silhan (Bay Shore, N.Y./Bay Shore) - with a pregame ceremony.

New Haven is 4-25-1 all-time against Southern New Hampshire.
SCOUTING THE CHARGERS (4-7-1, 2-5-1 NE10)
New Haven is coming off a 3-0 shutout loss at Franklin Pierce on Wednesday.
Francisco Guedes (Lisbon, Portugal/Maristas de Carcavelos) was the hero for the Chargers in their most recent home game in last Saturday's overtime thriller against Saint Michael's, scoring the golden goal on a breakaway in the 95th minute.
JP Viruet (Seymour, Conn./Seymour) scored his third goal of the season, and
Jon Calvo (Vitoria, Spain/Olabide Ikastola) registered four points with an assist and his first career goal in the win.
Junior
Sean Skeens (Auckland, New Zealand/Westlake Boys) scored his third goal of the season in New Haven's win over Southern Connecticut. Senior
Nate Peduzzi (Old Lyme, Conn./Lyme-Old Lyme) leads the Chargers with four goals and eight points. Freshman
David Peteri (Rotterdam, Netherlands/Erasmiaans Gymnasium) has a pair of goals, and
Estanislao Desseno (Buenos Aires, Argentina/Saint Patrick College) and
Alvaro Ezpeleta (Vigo, Spain/Colegio Amor de Dios) are tied with a team-high four assists.
As a team, New Haven is scoring 1.75 goals per game this season, while allowing 2.25 per game. New Haven has had a good amount of success off set pieces so far this season, scoring nine goals off corner and free kicks through their first 12 games.
SCOUTING THE PENMEN (5-4-3, 3-3-2 NE10)
SNHU enters Saturday's matchup unbeaten across their last five matches, which includes three wins and two ties. The team most recently had a 4-0 road win at Saint Michael's on Wednesday.
The Penmen have five different players with at least four goals on the season, led by Michael Goncalves (team-high 14 points) and Alex Satrustegui who have five goals apiece. Goncalves is also tied for the team lead with four assists.
Sophomore goalkeeper Patrick Quinn has seen the bulk of the action so far this season with seven starts over nine appearances. He holds a 3-3 record and a 1.38 goals-against average.
ON DECK
The Chargers will kick off a two-game road swing beginning on Tuesday evening with a trip to Assumption.
