MANSFIELD, Mass. – Junior goalkeeper and Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) President Natalie Shaker (Newtown, Conn./Newtown) has been selected as one of four officers of the NE10 SAAC for the 2019-20 school year. Shaker will serve the conference leadership organization as the Female Co-Vice Chair.

The Newtown, Conn. native is one of three juniors who were selected to lead the conference SAAC with Nicole McIntosh from Saint Rose and Brendan Desautels from Assumption selected as the Female and Male Co-Chairs, respectively. The lone senior among the officers is Stonehill's James Varney who will serve as the Male Co-Vice Chair.

The NE10 SAAC serves as the student-athletes voice among the more than 6,000 student-athletes from the 14 institutions that make up the league. The conference SAAC offers input on rules, regulations and policies that affect student-athletes lives.
