WEST HAVEN, Conn. – New Haven Field Hockey was widely featured on the 2025 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) National Academic Squad. The Blue & Gold placed 15 student-athletes on the list, tying with Sacred Heart for third in the NEC.
The NFHCA recognizes more than 1,100 outstanding undergraduate student-athletes from 82 institutions. Sponsored by OPA Winning Teams, the NFHCA Academic Squad program honors undergraduate student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher through the fall semester, nominated by their NFHCA member coaches.
