FULL NORTHEAST-10 WEEKLY RELEASE

WEST HAVEN, Conn. – After racking up a double-double in a four-set win over Bentley to help her team stay undefeated in the Northeast-10, freshman outside hitter Peyton Mast (Park Hills, Ky./Notre Dame Academy) is now the second Charger to earn NE10 Rookie of the Week honors following her counterpart Grace Juergens (Lockport, Ill./Lockport Township) last week.

Mast finished the 2-0 week with a total of 18 kills including 11 top open up the week against the previously unbeaten Bentley University. In addition to her success on offense, she added 15 digs with all but one of those coming against the Falcons to complete the double double.

For the week she also added an assist, four service aces and three blocks all with her 18 kills coming on a .333 attack percentage with three errors in 45 total attempts. The double double against the Falcons is jut the second of the season.

Mast and the Chargers will take the court twice in the week ahead, first on the road at Adelphi on Tuesday, October 31 and the second when they welcome crosstown rival Southern Connecticut State University on Friday, November 3.
