BLOOMFIELD, Conn. – Coming off the Conference Championships, The University of New Haven Men's Golf team returned to the course for their final tournament of the fall season. Staying in the Nutmeg State, the team traveled up to the Watertown Golf Club in Watertown, Connecticut. New Haven was one of 12 teams that competed at the Post University hosted event and the Chargers were one of eight NE10 schools that were back to work after the NE10's.
Hermann Gavilan (Valencia, Spain) led the way for the Chargers and posted his best round of the tournament in his final round where he played a -2 (34) on the front and a +2 (37) on the back to finish E (71) for the day and finish the tournament +9 (222) as he finished 7 overall.
Aaron Browning (Waxhaw, N.C./Cuthbertson) finished in a tie for 33, as he carded an opening round of +6 (77), second round +8 (79) and final round +11 (82) to finish the tournament +25 (236).
Alex Mitrovich finished 55, as he carded an opening round of +11 (82), second round +13 (84) and final round +13 (84) to finish the tournament +37 (248).
Jaime Hernandez finished in a tie for 57, as he carded an opening round of +12 (83), second round +15 (86) and final round +13 (84) to finish the tournament +40 (251).
Overall the Chargers finished 10 overall shooting a combined +111 (963) finishing the tournament
one shot back of Saint Anselm.
